Donagh is a legend of Irish Rallying and was very generous in giving up his time to have us visit. We also look back on the year we have had and our Rally DNA journey so far.

Season 2, Ep.9: Ray Sherratt, Part 2
Thursday Dec 01, 2022
Thursday Dec 01, 2022
One of the most highly regarded motorsport engineers of his generation, Ray Sherratt’s full-time rally career spanned four decades and took in innumerate cars, teams and drivers. Indeed, his CV reads like a veritable ‘who’s who’ of Golden Age rally talent, with individuals such as Roger Clark, Ari Vatanen, Didier Auriol and both Jimmy and Colin McRae all featuring heavily (as does a certain black and white, wide-arched Mk2 Escort).
Part 2 covers his time at R.E.D and beyond.

Season 2, Ep.8: Testing, Testing
Thursday Nov 10, 2022
Thursday Nov 10, 2022
This week’s episode centres on the murky, oft overlooked and eternally understudied subject of Pre-Event and Performance Testing, an essential undertaking for any rally team seeking to make its mark in any given championship, from the Clubman level right up to the WRC.
Joining us to help demystify this dense, delightfully technical subject we’re delighted to once more welcome Richard Browne, the former Prodrive and current VW Motorsport engineer - and the individual who helped us debut Rally DNA way back at the start of the year.
Richard was kind enough to give us almost an hour and a half of his valuable time to discuss the intricacies of test schedules, component destruction testing, the influence a driver’s personality and experience can make on how a given PET plays out, and much else besides. It all makes for a fascinating insight into a world most of us will have precious little first-hand experience of and probably seldom think of, yet one that’s a key component of successful rallying in the modern era.

Season 2, Ep.7: Group 4 into Group B
Thursday Oct 27, 2022
Thursday Oct 27, 2022
This week Jamie and Killian discuss a topic that's been on the cards for a while - the tail end of Group 4 and its cross over into Group B. We have selected 8 cars from that time, most of which ended up homologated into Group B when those rules came in. We had a laugh doing this one and think its an interesting subject and produced plenty worthy of discussion. Warning: terrible accents and mispronunciations abound in this one!

Season 2, Ep.5: Tarmac Specialists, with Jon Desborough
Thursday Sep 29, 2022
Thursday Sep 29, 2022
The era of the Tarmac Specialist in the World Rally Championship was brief, but exciting, particularly when you paired them with a screaming manic front wheel drive French hatchback on steroids and ran amok when you plonked them onto the likes of the Tour de Corse or San Remo, much to the ire of the established teams. These specialists sometimes evolved into somewhat of a "super sub" driving works cars on specific events with the demise of the F2 Kit Cars until, ironically the arrival of a certain Frenchman seemed to put to bed the relevance of such a driver in the championship any more.....
Joining us to discuss this fascinating sub plot from the peak of the World Rally Championship is veteran broadcaster and WRC commentator Jon Desborough, well positioned to help us out in this chat, even if he claims he doesn't know what a differential is...
